Well, I went with the 360 version since other topics turned up people hating the PS2 version (or at best being neutral), as opposed to loving the 360 version. Unfortunately I still only have a smallish SDTV, so the graphical improvement will mostly be lost on me. A beautiful loss is still a loss, and an ugly win is still a win. Boards. Just Cause.

Google for a free application called x360ce vibmod. It's a simple utility written just for this reason. It works with all of these xbox wanna-be lame games like Just Cause 2 and GTAIV. All you do is unzip it into your game folder and start the game, it will instantly think your whatever controller is an xbox controller.
Overall between all the consoles, Xbox 360 version is the best one all around. Lower latency controllers and high quality versions of the games. The only difference is u won't get a few characters throughout the games on the Wii however it's mostly the same game besides this tinny detail. Same game, different platform.

Catalog wise I highly recommend PS3 over 360 even though 360 is the last Xbox that arguably has a worthwhile catalog. Although it seemed very NA oriented, shooting combat etc. I believe, not totally sure, that RDR ran better on 360 than PS3.
